FREE CRAFT REGISTRATION SCHEME

Working in partnership with Torridge District Council, the Northern Devon Coast & Countryside Service is operating a FREE registration scheme for craft on the Taw Torridge Estuary.

As in 2006, craft will need to be registered under the scheme in order to access the water, using slipways such as at Appledore and via the Toll Road at Braunton.

In order to issue a card valid for the current season (2007), it will be necessary to present the following information to the Northern Devon Coast & Countryside Service, either in person or by post:

• Your contact details (name, address, contact telephone)
• Details of all craft to be registered, including any identifying numbers, names, etc. (photo if available)
• Proof of valid, current third-party insurance (NB: cover notes are not acceptable, due to abuse of the scheme in the previous year)

If you are already registered under the scheme, you only need to provide your current insurance certificate, and any details that have changed since you registered previously.
